Give locally this Giving Tuesday and support one of the important not for profit projects in Ballarat.
2020 has been a year to remember and our community must work together to support some of the great initiatives that make our city special.
Please give generously to the projects listed below.
We are proudly Ballarat based and are Australia’s only regionally based cancer research centre. The research is non-government funded and relies on the community to sustain its work.
Our research is focused on the role of the immune system, how it relates and can be used to treat cancer. During to COVID, our research hasn’t stopped. Our research aims to help patients with a broad range of cancers – from Leukemia, Bowel, Ovarian, Breast, Renal, Lung, Melanoma and Pancreato-Biliary cancers, as well as haematological cancers. Your donation goes directly to supporting cancer research in Ballarat.
The Ballarat Foundation believes that everybody deserves continuous access to safe and nutritious food, yet each year over 12% of the Ballarat population relies on food service charities.
For GivingTuesday, The Ballarat Foundation will be accepting donations to the Foundation's 'Feed Ballarat Program'.
Donations made to the Foundation’s ‘Feed Ballarat Program’ are distributed to local charities through an annual grants process.
We’d love you to get on board this Giving Tuesday with our fundraising efforts to buy a new, wheelchair equipped bus for our aged care residents. Ballarat Health Services is the largest public provider of residential aged care in Australia, we’re proud of the care and safety we’ve had around residents during COVID. It’s nearly time to hit the road and get out and about again, and to do this we’d love for our frail community to be riding in comfort and safety.
Every dollar counts towards our total, we’re almost halfway already to our goal of $102,000, so jump on board with us. Donating is easy just click the link below and nominate the bus as your choice.
So much has been different this year and as we head into Christmas, we are still unsure what normal looks like. For many Ballarat families, one thing is certain; they have absolutely nothing to look forward to.
The 3BA CHRISTMAS APPEAL wants to change all of that.
Together we can make Christmas a special occasion for every local family.
Things are different this year for us, and we encourage you to make donations of cash instead of food & toys. Please give and show you really care.
On Giving Tuesday, you can help your arts community to survive and thrive. We’d love your support for the 2021 Ballarat International Foto Biennale.
Your contribution will directly assist the local arts community, for example:
• $200 provides funds for photographic printing for our exhibitions
• $400 will fund a local Ballarat artist to continue their arts practice
• $500 will support an artist exhibition in the Biennale and you will receive recognition in the Festival program and website
• $700 towards our micro-grants fund will assist artists in our Open Program with the costs of registration, printing, framing for their exhibition and you will receive recognition in the Festival program and website
All donations over $2.00 are fully tax-deductible and we sincerely appreciate your support for the arts community in Ballarat.
